If you feel like taking a trip to the Brooklyn Art Museum (or the BAM), if you are in the Ft. Greene area, or you want good Viennese food, go to Thomas Beisl. With the restaurant's pub feel, and very Austrian authenticity, you feel very comfortable in your corner of Europe. But the food, from smoked salmon, to braised beef, to Apple Strudel with Schlag (thick cream), it was really good. The beef came with beets, potatoes, carrots, and it was quite a feast. The service could be a little better, but besides that, please go! And plus, take a visit to the BAM, its right across the street.
